Our friends over at RE-XtremeBlogspot took the time to cover the 52 Annual Tokyo Hobby Show in a drifters state of mind. He wrote an article on his blog page. I am sharing his article with others who may not know of his blog.
He brings news of new products to be released by Yokomo and Tamiya. Here are a few shots but take the hyperlink to his site for more coverage.

Rc drifting is getting recognized all over the world.
RCDrift IDF "France" has made a presence the last 3 years at
"World Model" the biggest model fair in France.
"Mondial Du Modelisme"
It was Mondial Du Modelisme 32nd international event displaying model making toys. The event witnessed around 400 exhibitors showcasing planes, cars, boats, trains, tools, Doll houses and furniture, games and educational toys.
This is the third time the crew of "RCDRIFT-IDF" were invited to submit RC drifting. Every year they make an enormously new track.
This year the decorations consisted of: signalisaion on the road with signs indicative road markings, plants everywhere. a small Japanese town with a garage, petrol station, a koban, a familly mart, skate park, tennis court and car park full of body. we also had a real silvia S13 on our stand.
RCDRfit-IDF organized a competition with the AS factory team (a team contest at the "king of Europe" European drift championship) to judge.
Here were the results of the comp.
1st - Nuno Vieira
2nd - Clement Bigot
3rd - Franck Peugnier
Congratulations fellas..

Toxic Drift held their first rc drift event of the series at Autoland Scions Triple threat meet/Car show. This was a Scion dealership that was hosting a car show and barbecue. The intended plans were to run the event outside, but do to rain throughout the day the dealership allowed for it to take place indoors
(BIG SHOUT TO AUTOLAND SCION -Springfield NJ)
The layout was designed by Hono Circuit and nicely decorated with an overpass, garage, safety wall with fence and Tetsujin course markers. Lots of markings to find that perfect line. The competition brought drifters from all parts of NY and NJ making the competition stiff. Practice time started and the drifters hit the floor, only to realize some of us have never driven on tile floor before, some adjustments in tire and suspension settings were made and back to practice for driving adjustments. Qualify runs showed the more advanced guys were on their A game but some new comers were not to be slept on. Scores were close, so tandem runs were gonna be exciting. Battles were tough, no driver wanted to lose and some even went to OMT(one more time). But in the end one man was left standing.

               CONGRATULATIONS
                  KINTOJIN

Results are as follows:
10 - Kinto
8 - Hyoung

1 - Freddy
